On Saturday, October 5, and Sunday, October 6, you are very welcome to join AVARIE and Labor Neunzehn at the WIELS Art Book Fair in Brussels.
We'll be showcasing a selection of AVARIE's past and recent books, highlighting our latest release Snaturamenti | a workbook by Flatform on displacement co-published with Light Cone éditions in Paris, and the latest issues of our collection of kamera cahiers, co-curated and co-edited with Labor Neunzehn in Berlin for Kamera series | experimental films and printed matter.
Giuliana Prucca, founder and artistic director of AVARIE, will be signing her book Devenir minéral, a critical essay on mineral matter in art and literature, published by L'Éditeur du Dimanche, at AVARIE and Labor Neunzehn's table on Saturday, October 5, 3 pm.
On Sunday, October 6, 2 pm BLIND DATE: Giuliana Prucca (AVARIE) will be in conversation with Carlo Menon (ACCATTONE) at the WIELS Auditorium, museum level -1 (EN/FR, 40’).
Meeting for the first time, contemporary art book publisher AVARIE and art and architecture magazine ACCATTONE will interview each other, exchanging questions to uncover their approaches to publishing, as well as the ways their practices resonate and differ. This mutual inquiry will offer insights into the evolution of art, space, and text through diverse editorial formats.

Free and open to the public, the WIELS Art Book Fair allows book lovers, collectors, artists and art professionals to discover a wide variety of printed productions, from zines and artist books to art catalogues and artist editions.
In addition to welcoming over +70 independent art publishers to present their work, numerous participants propose a well-filled programme of artist talks, book launches and book signings.
